Bible Times

It would be great to do a series in the Old Testament where each Sabbath some very specific aspect of the life is celebrated. You could start with a portion of a wall from a traditional Hebrew home and add an item each week so people could get a picture of what it might have been like to live, work, eat and sleep. The time of the children's lesson might introduce each item, but it should be incorporated into the sermon to truly contribute spiritually.
